HOW IT STARTED
It started with a dream and vision,
followed by passion and driver. And now,… it becomes a movement, a movement of like minds, a movement of
people towards one common goal… to create wealth and solve problem of
unemployment… and cure poverty in the society and promote prosperity.
Sometimes ago in the angel city of
Philistine, a young lady had a dream and vision to help people in need, the
widows, orphans, refugees and less privileged in general, now being blessed of
God, decided to follow her heart and focus on her vision of helping people.
Pursuing this vision all alone by herself and funding it from her pocket wasn't an easy one, but she persisted helping widows around, paying school fees for
orphans, connecting people to get life time training on skill acquisition
programs here and there. Some years later she met a like minded humanitarian, a philanthropist, a dentist whose passion was to help aged people.
In 2010, they both agreed to legally
float an NGO thereby turning their passion and vision to NGO named HELPING
HANDS. Government agencies, organization, rich philanthropist, all came funding
most of her empowerment and charitable movement.
This vision ran for 3 years, than the
need to go global arose, more so, as the vision is a global one to reach out to
other third world nations, thereby giving birth to helping hands international
on the world wide web. December 2013
